  • Period Protection

    Funded Jan 6, 2025

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Your support means so much to us. Our girls are able to access good quality female sanitary products without having to ask in class. Our girls have been given renewed confidence and feel more comfortable taking care of themselves without the worry of not having the necessary items they need during that time of the month. I have received so much positive feedback on the addition of these supplies from students and staff. The students now have access to these supplies without having to seek them out and in case of emergency they can quickly access them within the restroom. Thanks again for helping our students have a better day and feel confidence to continue coming to school during the most difficult time of the month. πŸ˜Šβ€

  • Interactive Notebook Activities to Promote Engagement

    Funded Aug 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. The interactive notebook activities purchased through TPT have increased engagement and participation in my classes. My students are more motivated to complete assignments. They also have more pride in their work. The activities allow for me to implement more visuals into my lessons. I am also able to provide accommodations and modifications more readily such as graphic organizers and visual elements. Your kindness was invaluable and our class sincerely appreciates your care and support.”

  • Guitar Hero Guitar for Gaming Club

    Funded Nov 19, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. The students are so grateful for your donation to our project and for helping us complete our goals. Your donation allowed us to play a classic game together while kids work on improving their motor skills and collaborating together to complete levels. This was such a special donation for our students because there are very few games out there now like guitar hero today. Our next step is to try to obtain a second guitar so students can play against one another but in the meantime, collaborating with one another to complete the levels is still just as fun. Again, thank you so much for your kindness and support.”

  • Nintendo Switch Role-Playing Games

    Funded May 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Our students were so excited to see the new games. Immediately they asked when they can play them during our gaming club. Your support and help has motivated our students to continue attending clubs and to invite their friends to join them after school as well. Your donation has had such a positive impact on our students. You can truly see that they feel a sense of belonging and community within their school. Thanks again for all of your help and consideration.”

  • Social Science Books for SSR

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Our students were immediately excited to receive the new texts in our classroom. This was a great opportunity for them to broaden their perspectives and knowledge of texts themed around social justice and social sciences. They were immediately grabbed by our students to read during silent sustained reading and I plan to also integrate them into our curriculum for next year. I was also able to display some of the texts for Black History month and Women's history month. Thank you again for providing us these wonderful resources.”

  • Motivational Snacks

    Funded Feb 10, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and support. This was a great treat for our students. We have been passing out snacks once a month and we still have enough that we will be able to continue passing them out until the last week of school. The students are so appreciative. We pass out snacks during class and after school during our clubs. Students are clearly motivated and this has positively impacted their school life. My last period classes are especially grateful as during that time they are quickly becoming hungry and tired. Thank you again for all of your help.”

  • Goosebumps for Independent Reading

    Funded Dec 31, 2022

Wow! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Our students were so excited to see these new additions to our class library. The students immediately picked out their favorite Goosebumps titles and started reading them during our silent sustained reading time. Your donation helped us complete our horror section. Each of the books has been labeled by Lexile and genre so they are easily accessible for the students to be able to select a text that is within their zone of proximal development. Thanks again for helping us complete a portion of our library!”

  • Library Nook Furniture

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Our students are so happy to have this furniture in our classroom. The students have already started to get themselves comfortable and are fully enjoying sitting, studying, and relaxing on these new additions to our classroom. Not only is the furniture wonderful for the students to use during class time, but they are also enjoying them after school during clubs. Thank you so much again for making this possible. Our classroom is so much more enjoyable now!”

My students in my homeroom are striving for 90% or better attendance everyday. They have stated that if they received positive motivation they would be more excited about coming to school everyday. When I asked them what they would like, they mentioned that they love Mexican candy. So together we developed the idea that if the entire class came to school everyday, I would put one piece of candy in a pinata for every student in the classroom. I have eleven students and so far their attendance has been 100% perfect for three days in a row and they have earned 33 pieces of candy. I would like to continue to motivate them to come to school and they are looking forward to our Exceptional Attendance Pinata Candy Celebration at the end of the first semester.
