My school serves a population that is diverse and impoverished. Over 30 different languages are represented in the student body and over 80% of my students are considered living in poverty. Technology plays a huge role in many different areas, physical education is included. Unfortunately, with the population I teach, their exposure to technology is limited to what they use and see in school. Being able to use this technology in PE will be a motivator for these students to stay fit, as well as it is a great way to measure intensity and get results from exercise.
