Our classroom is made up of 27 second grade students. Most of our students are from low-income families. We want to have a successful year and raise the standards of the students. Our focus this year is on the Common Core and preparing students for college and a career. We want all of our students to be prepared and have the tools for the 21st century learning. This school year, I want to enhance student engagement by providing all of these wonderful tools of technology for my students. It will enable my students living in poverty to have access to technology they do not receive at home. The technology will help with skills in communication, group collaboration and learning. These skills will give the students a better chance to become life-long learners. Thank you so much!
