My students are 7th graders in California. They attend the largest middle school in the area with about 1,435 other kids. My kids come to me by bus, car, bike, or simply walking. These adolescents are an active bunch who get excited about learning via hands-on materials. Since many of my students come from a rather diverse background, the prior knowledge in any given area is all over the board. In order to level the playing field, I would like to give equal access to all students on a daily basis. With chrome books in hand, students can collect current data, view phenomenon, and research on a wide variety of life science concepts. I want to see my students thriving and driving toward the 21st Century with technology at their fingertips.
