Funded Oct 26, 2022Thank you for your generous donations. You have made a great impact on my students. When my students saw the donations, they didn't know what a Cricut machine was, but they were excited to learn all about it. Students are learning how to use the Cricut design space platform as well as learn elements of design.
In the last two months, during my after-school craft club, Craft Talk, students have dropped by to socialize and make personalized items. Although I teach sophomores and seniors, I have met students in 9th and 11th grades because they are interested in crafting. Students have made personalized faux leather key fobs, infusible ink mugs, and pencil cases. Although students have enjoyed learning how to create these items, they enjoy talking to one another more. The students have bonded because they share a common interest.
Your donations have also impacted students in my classes. The students asked if they could make vinyl stickers to personalize their water bottles and we spent some time during their advisory time making vinyl stickers. Your donations will continue to impact other students this year. Next on our crafting agenda is to design a re-usable water bottle using permanent vinyl and create t-shirts using iron on vinyl. Senior Project
Funded Jan 10, 2008Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students and I will put the projector to great use. They are currently writing their senior project research paper and will soon learn how to create Power point presentations and build other multi-media presentations.
