My students are awesome and diverse. They are excited and eager to learn new and challenging content, but have very limited access to modern technologies to help them advance their foundational academic skills or technology based skills. This hinders their ability to work with higher order vocabulary, information, or excellent resources. The school I teach at is an urban school, with a student population of over 1300. Over 75% of the students I am serving qualify for free or reduced lunch, and some students are transient or homeless.
