  • Help my Trout Conservation Project Survive!

    Funded Apr 16, 2014

Thank you so much for your support! Thanks to your contribution, we were able to keep our science room cool enough for our trout to survive. The students who participated in the project traveled to Upstate New York to release the trout and were able to document and monitor the full process of the trout developing. This was a wonderful lesson that taught them to be active participants in the conservation of our water shed. The best part is that I will be able to continue this project for many years to come.”

  • Young Scientists Learn about Renewable Sources of Energy

    Funded May 6, 2014

Thank you soooooo much for funding my project!!! My students are learning about simple machines and renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. Hands on experiments are the best way for students to learn to love science and think like real scientists. With our new materials they are able to conduct experiments and test their hypothesis. My young scientists amaze me every day with their ideas and incredible creativity.

Thank you for your generosity and support. Have a wonderful summer!!!”

  • Young Scientists Need Slides for Microscopes

    Funded May 6, 2014

Thank you so much for helping us get slides for our microscopes for our science classroom. I recently did my first lesson on how to use the slides in the microscopes with one of my classes. The children were so excited to be able to look through the lenses and access a new world. In the following weeks, I plan to continue to introduce different classes to the use of microscopes and for the rest of the year, they will be part of my curriculum.

Your contribution has made a great difference in my classroom.”

  • Young Robotics Apprentices Need Computers

    Funded Dec 22, 2013

Thank you for helping us with our Robotics project. My students love to work with technology and they are getting better and better about programming their robots to do different things.

I work with a group of students from grade 3-5 and they enjoy every moment of our time.

I think it is important for young people to be exposed to different technological tools early so they can understand how they work and can be inspired to continue to learn.

My students are very lucky to have donors like you to support our program.”

  • Cold Scientists Need Carpet Squares

    Funded Dec 28, 2013

Thank you so much for helping my class get carpet squares. Thanks to you, my students don't have to sit on the cold floor anymore. They can use the carpet squares if they are sitting in small groups and conducting experiments or when they sit as a whole class when I introduce a new concept or read a book about a topic that we are exploring.

It is wonderful to have supporters like you to make my classroom better and better each year. My young scientists thank you from the bottom of their hearts!”
