• Just the Beginning: Book Series to Engage Readers

  My students and I are so excited about our new books. We have read books together by some of the same authors. My students love to read and these books will be read repeatedly before the end of the year. I picked book series so that hopefully I can give my students new book series and authors to explore. • Reading Adventures: Ender's Game

  Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom! We have begun exploring the unique world of the future in Ender's Game. I am using the text to expand students' vocabulary and to open discussions about the possible future global economic and political changes. My students are genuinely intrigued by this remarkable, relatable story. It is exciting to see them motivated to read!

  I am sure you know that budget constraints often limit what my school is able to provide as resources for our classroom, and I often use my personal finances to purchase items for my students to use. Therefore, I am very grateful for your donations. You are promoting reading, thinking, and academic success in my classroom. Without donors like you, my students would not have these items that I am able to use to teach and hopefully inspire the students who will one day become the leaders of tomorrow. • Weather Or Not - Weather Instruments

  I am thrilled to hear that you have sponsored our Weather Forecasting Project. I know my students will thoroughly enjoy using the weather instruments, clouds poster, and water cycle model to explore how weather is created, changes, and is measured.
