  • Three Blind Mice...

    What a wonderful surprise this morning when I opened my email. I am so excited about having these books for our students. I have already planned many cross-curriculum activities to make this piece of children's literature unforgettable.

    The timing could not have been more perfect since the movie is coming out in December and we will be able to do many comparative and evaluative activities with the two mediums.

    Thank you for providing us with a gift that will be used by our school for many years to come.

    What a great way to start the morning! I am so excited to get these materials for our new Gifted and Talented Program. The students' creativity and imagination will blossom. You will see the excitement on their faces when we receive the materials and they start a variety of projects.

  • Come Visit Another World!

    What a great way to start my morning by discovering that our Rivertank Ecosystem has been totally funded! The students will be thrilled to hear about the newest addition to our classroom and their excitement and anticipation will be a great learning tool. Since we are so close to the Arkansas River, I look forward to developing a curriculum with these materials that will exciting, timely and right in their backyard.

Our Gifted and Talented Program continues to soar! Our first annual Science Fair was a huge success and sparked so much interest in Science among our students. We would like to continue to stoke that interest and keep our students interested and passionate about science. Whether they are learning about their own marvelous body, the world they live in, or the world beyond, students just naturally soak up information and learn how to think critically and creatively. Thank you for helping me inspire, motivate and encourage these young scientists!
