I teach a group of highly motivated young students, many from low-income families, who when given the chance have shown incredible results in science and engineering. My students are English language learners who are building robots. They are students whose parents have never been to college and can write their own computer programs. (GIRLS are outnumbering boys interested in pursuing these projects!)But we rely on donations and grants to provide them with the tools they need to reach these amazing achievements. We have begun using "Stencyl" to create simple Android apps, and hope to move to Eclipse to develop a conceptual understanding of JAVA programming and app development, but we have NO platform to see the results of our creations. That's where we need YOU. Help us make even more exciting creations while building skills that will put these students (and the USA!) ahead of the competition!
