Print, Copy, Scan; Printer Needed
Funded Sep 29, 2022The donation of the printer and ink has immensely impacted our students in a positive way. All of our students struggle academically and with taking notes. The printer has enabled us as educators to create graphic organizers and guided notes to help our students break down the lessons and retain the skills that are being taught.
The students were extremely excited and grateful to receive the printer and ink cartridges. They were most excited about the graphic organizers and guided notes that could now be included in each lesson. Additionally, they were excited that they were able to have these sheets printed in color so that important information could be highlighted to help with studying.
Honestly, all of the students were especially happy to receive the printer. They have expressed how they printer has relieved the stress in class of note taking and how the sheets have helped organize their work and helped them study for class exams. Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

Funded Dec 1, 2020The completion of this project impacted the students in such a positive way. Math instruction during the pandemic was especially difficult. The donation of the iPad made it possible to incorporate more online resources into our lessons. Students were able to receive scaffolded instruction that met their individual needs. Additionally, the iPad allowed visual learners to receive instruction similar to what they were accustomed to in the classroom. The iPad allowed was exciting to student because it allowed us to incorporate new apps and learning resources to both our online classroom and in-person instruction. My ASD NEST students were especially excited to work with the iPAD. Thank you again for your generous donations.”

Funded Oct 18, 2016The students of Marine Park IS 278 are so very thankful to have received their new technology. They have already started to use them by researching their second debate topic of the season. They are excited to have the Internet at their fingertips and are working hard to find reliable pieces of evidence to support their cases. They are working together to create strong arguments and are able to edit their cases together. This new technology in the classroom is promoting teamwork. They are eager to work together and their research has led to insightful conversations during our time together in class. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had our project funded.”
