My students are part of a pilot program that allows them to earn a half credit of Art while taking Biology. Historically, our school struggles with a low graduation rate and highly transient students. The students I work with are either first time freshmen or repeaters, and in either case, that extra half credit they earn can be pivotal to their timely success in high school.
