For our very first reading project this year, I will be reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing to the class. I am hoping by giving the students their own copy of the book to read and follow along it will encourage them to find their love of reading. Students will make predictions and write summaries. They will also make connections to the text as we read. I plan to use Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing to introduce and review reading strategies we will use during the year. This book will be something they can keep and read over and over again.
