  • Hard Work Pays Off

    Funded Dec 16, 2023

My items were delivered, unpacked and set up at the Roar store! As the kids walk by they stop and check out all the new incentives. They are so excited with all the new things they can choose from.

As I'm watching, I hear them talking to each other about how hard they are going to work to earn roar bucks. This is exactly why I requested these items. I wanted to have things available that would encourage students to use positive behavior throughout the day. Students earn points which turn into roar bucks, then they shop! It is great having new materials they can buy! Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeLucia

  • Roar for Good Behavior

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

"Wow", I heard this over and over again as students walked past our school store and saw the new items we added. We use Class Dojo as a behavior management program and every time the students earn a point they know they are closer to a prize at the store.

The store gives our students the desire to earn points so they can "shop" for their favorite item. Markets, squishies and basketballs are a few favorites! Your kindness and generosity made it possible to provide our students more options than I thought possible!”

  • Readers in Progress

    Funded Aug 9, 2023

    I want to thank

you for your generosity. The materials I received because of your donation will have a lasting impact on my students today, as well as future students.

I have been able to use the posters to provide visual clues to help students gain confidence in their reading by strengthening their reading strategies. These posters give them lifelong skills to decode, comprehend and fluently read new stories.

The language arts kits have already been put to good use and my students love using them. They work in small groups, independently or whole group building their comprehension, decoding ability and phonics skills. I am able to use these kits for all my students in grades 1-5 which means lifelong skills are developing.

I cannot express how much of a difference your donation makes in the life of one of my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeLucia

  • Squish, Squeeze, Play and Learn

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

As you can see from the pictures, my students love using this sand. They get creative with it building castles, ice cream and so much more. I have also added it to some lessons where they form letters and build words. They have also used it during math lessons by making shapes and adding or subtracting them.

The thing I like most about this kinetic sand is the joy and laughter I hear every time it is used. "Look at my ice cream" or "look at my castle".... I love hearing there conversations and collaboration.

You made this possible and I am so grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeLucia

  • A Pocket Of My Own

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

These chair sacks have helped my students work on their organizational skills and what a difference they have made. Everything they need is at the fingertips.

These have also increased time on learning , as they're is no longer as much wandering looking for the tools they need to complete assignments! If students need pencils, scissors, glue or crayons all they need to do is look inside their chair pocket it's great to see the independence they feel as well!

We are beyond grateful for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeLucia

  • A Bright Start

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

My students have absolutely loved using the markers to brighten their art work. For many this is their first time using markers! The multicultural crayons were a huge hit. The colors were a source of inspiration and a great conversation builder.

Always a favorite are the colorful bingo daubers. We have used them in so many ways.... Just for fun, finding sight words, letters and even writing names. The colors are magnificent and my students love them!

For these items, and all of your support I need to thank you! I could not brighten their day as much without your support!”

  • Antsy Pants and ABC’s

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

I opened the boxes of fidgets and letters and my students got so excited. They could not wait to explore.

Each child got to hold, squish or squeeze an item. They shared, they laughed but most importantly they focused on the lesson.

Students watched their friends take turns putting letter pictures into the matching letter pocket. Others used the letter molds to find beginning sounds or letters in their names! These items are instantly working!

Thank you so much for making such a difference in the education of my students! You are so appreciated!”

  • Feelings Come and Feelings Go

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

You have made an impact on my students and I am beyond grateful. Covid has impacted the lives of so many, especially my little ones who have never been to school.

Learning how to navigate a new school, new routine and unfamiliar faces is so overwhelming for 5 & 6 year olds. They needed tools to help them through the process and because of your generosity I was able to!

The emotions picture cards, allow students to name their feelings. Conversations can be built around these feelings and have truly made a difference.

I am truly thankful to you for helping me help my little ones.”

  • K Kids on the Move

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

The flexible seating chairs have made an incredible impact on my students. I see more engagement with every lesson.

The children that needed these the most have shown big improvement in their attention and focus. The seats are light and portable so the students can bring them where they need them. The children are able to sit, yet still move their bodies, while listening to a story, completing a math or language lesson.

The students have really benefited from these seats and it has allowed them all to feel included and successful. What more could a teacher ask for!”

  • Time to Tune In!

    Funded Sep 21, 2020

Through your generosity I have been able to give my students a little help with tuning out what's going on around them and tuning into the learning.

Remote learning is a challenge, especially for little ones who can hear "life" happening all around them. They really had a hard time adjusting at first, but these wonderful headsets did the trick. My students can focus on the lesson more because they are not as distracted by the background noise. This would not be possible without the kindness and generosity you have shown!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DeLucia
