Arches, Trains, and Ramps, Oh My!
Funded May 27, 2021Thank You so much for contributing to my project "Arches, Trains, and Ramps, Oh My!" I cannot begin to describe the impact these items have added to our block center. The arches help the students create amazing builds with curves and design. They have experimented with balancing and tunnels. The ramp set came with long and short ramps and it is so exciting to watch my students explore and experiment!
I have to say, the train is probably a favorite of all of the students! They create a variety of tracks and can add houses and trees to their designs! I know all of these items will be cherished for years to come!”

Funded Oct 23, 2020Thank You so much for contributing to our classroom. My students were so excited when we received a box of goodies and couldn't wait to explore.
The first thing they wanted to try out were the Do-A-Dot Markers and the punches. Both of these items were a hit and it added a new creative element to their free art. We have used both these items during free exploration as well as during teaching moments. The punches can be used in a pattern and for counting. The Do-A-Dot markers have been used for finding letters, patterns, and measuring.
Our class favorite, by far, is the drying rack. This rack has provided the opportunity for students to create "masterpieces" and gave them a place to dry and/or return and finish the next day.
We appreciate your generosity and will continue to explore, create, and develop into life long learners.”

Funded Nov 28, 2019My students and myself were so excited when our packaged arrived. We immediately opened it up and explored the light cube by turning off he lights and watching the colors change. Our favorite was the fade. When I told them they would get to play with it, build on it, explore and more they were super excited.
Another item that came with our set was the big round sensory tray. Not only does this tray hold water, it vibrates. My students can not get enough. In this tray we have put water, water beads, colored rice, shredded paper, pasta and can't wait to try out more sensory items. This tray also fits on the light cube and takes sensory learning to a new level.
These items have proved very successful in promoting social interactions. They take turns, talk with one another to create new and exciting things, and work together. We are so appreciative of your donation and know these items will have a positive impact in our classroom for years to come.”
