My students are kindergarten students at a charter school. The students are predominately second language learners (for the most part cannot speak or communicate in English at the beginning of the year) and at times can communicate extremely well through visuals. Therefore, enriching their learning through art will only allow them to become better students. My students enjoy art time and will love it if they get their hands on materials they have never used before. They need to experience the use of non-traditional art supplies. Unfortunately, these art supplies are not possible without extra help.
