    On behalf of my class, I would like to thank you for the donation you made to make our class a better place. The students were so excited to get the new books. They always ask to read the news books. The students have been practicing their reading with the new books everyday. They are learning new words, using picture clues, and gaining fluency with these books. The books are really helping them learn to read as well as love to read! The books have been a great addition to our class. The students in out class just want to thank you so much for your generous donation. I am also grateful for you helping my with the education of these young special needs students!

Ten boys and two girls enter my classroom, located in an urban neighborhood in New York City, eager to learn and tackle the challenges of the school day.
