  • We Need Organization and Space for Our Books

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

I would like to express my gratitude for your donation to my classroom, and to my current and future students. Our classroom has very limited space and we were in need of the chair pouches for the students to keep their leveled books in so that they may access them easily and so that the teacher can switch them out easily when it is time. The pouches are nice and sturdy so I can use them again for the upcoming year. The pouches help keep the students desk clutter free, and so organized that they are not spending time on searching for books any longer.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sandoval

  • Help Us Hear Without Distractions.

    Funded May 2, 2022

Thank you for your generous donation to my project, help us hear without distractions. In our school we use a tablet for many different reasons, one of them is an online program called Iready that helps students with reading and math lessons. We need to use headphones because students are all working on a tablet and need to focus without all of the different distractions in a kindergarten classroom. We now have enough headphones for all students, plus a few extra in case one of the headphones breaks.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sandoval

  • Help Make Indoor Recess Fun!

    Funded Apr 8, 2022

I would like to thank you very much for your donation to my classroom, the students were so excited to see all the new materials that we received. The new materials range from magnetic building tools, to learning games that we use to help us learn our letter names and numbers.

The main reason for the project was to get materials for the students to use during recess time when we are not able to go outside due either to rain or snow. The students love to build, it is wonderful to see the boys and girls building and sharing what they have made.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sandoval

Due to the extreme weather students must stay indoors for recess all day. The class is very limited as to what they can do while inside, we have a few puzzles, books, and some building blocks for use inside. Students need fun games and other building materials to play with while inside that keeps them entertained while learning at the same time. The supplies will keep the whole class happy while being stuck indoors due to the extreme cold weather. All materials chosen tie into our science curriculum as well.
