  • Sensory = Success

    Funded Nov 3, 2016

Thank you so much for your generosity. I really appreciate your kindness and willingness to help change my students' lives. This sensory toy will help my students who are on a pre-k level, learn the parts of the face. This teaching tool makes it easier to hold their attention and engage them in a meaningful lesson.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fallo

  • It's an Oil Thing!

    Funded Oct 26, 2015

I would like to this time to thank you for your support. Your donations have given my students an avenue to explore a new environment, through the use of Essential Oils. The oils which are non-toxic and have multiple purposes are bring diffused throughout my classrooms. My students are demonstrating longer attention spans and are less aggressive during the day. Most of my students are non-verbal and use communication devices. So, I will speak for them and let you know that our room is more calm and an inviting environment to learn. We appreciate each of you and look forward to finishing out our year with the use of the oils. Again, thank you. Thank you for sharing my drive to make my classroom a better place to be and learn.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fallo

  • I Learn When I TOUCH.

    Funded Oct 24, 2012

I want you all to know how much your generosity has impacted my students. The tablet has not only provided vital communication tools for my non-verbal kiddos, but has also provided a "world" of knowledge for my students to explore, right at their fingertips. We have downloaded multiple educational apps that enhance our everyday learning. My non-verbal kiddos are more confident in communicating and all my students have benefited from the technology that makes learning so much fun!

Without each of you this new teaching tool would not have been possible. It is with my deepest gratitude, I say, thank you. My kiddos are elated when it is their turn with the tablet! One of them used an app to say how he feels. (see group picture)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fallo

My students are in a self-contained classroom, meaning they cannot progress using the general curriculum. Their disabilities range from mild to severe. Some are verbal but most are non-verbal. They attend a public school and have inclusion time with their general education peers. However, all of their academics and functional skills are taught within my classroom.
