  • Mobile Whiteboard

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

    My class couldn't be more thankful for your donation towards the whiteboard. We use it everyday. The students are able to come up and show their work to class, work together to answer math equations, and even play games! It is now so easy to create anchor charts that help the students complete their work.

    The whiteboard is mobile so when our esl teacher comes in to work with a group of students she is able to pull the whiteboard to where she is working and can help the children with their reading and math skills. It has made it so much easier for her to come into the classroom and work with the students.

  • Interactive Whiteboard for First Graders!

    My students have loved using the interactive whiteboard. It brings all subjects to life!

    During reading they can be leaders and lead the class in reading g a book, during math they are able to take turns or work together to show the class how to work through a problem, at science we can watch videos and interact with experiments.

    The possibilites are really endless. They have become so confident in using the whiteboard to show what they know!

  • Guided Reading Table

    Thank you for donating towards our small group table. We have had it for a few weeks now and it is so nice to have a comfortable, organized are for the students to meet for small group. We use this table everyday to meet for guided reading and guided math. When given a free choice of places to sit in the room, many love to sit at the table to work on writing.

    This table has made a significant improvement to our classroom and how it functions. Thank you for your generous donation.”

  • Comfy Place to Read in 1st Grade

    Thank you for funding our project A comfy place to read in 1st grade. Our class has been using the bean bag chairs to find a quite, comfy place to read in the classroom. The students don't have to sit on the cold floor when they are reading a book.

    They have been really good about taking turns and sharing the bean bag chairs with each other. The chairs arrived before the first day of school. They were set up and ready to use on day one of school. We started using them right away.

    I love to see them sitting and enjoying a book in a quiet corner. I love to see them think of other students and share the chair with a friend. They are loving the bean bag chairs.”

  • Kindergarten Classroom Rug

    Thank you for the classroom rug. The children have been using it every day since it arrived. It is so nice to gather on the rug for story time or just to see them in small groups playing a game together on the rug. They love to practice reading on the rug, it is one of their favorite spots to lay down with a favorite book.

    Every parent that comes into the classroom says how nice the rug looks, how it has changed the tone of the classroom. They can't believe that people like you would be so generous.

    You truly made the classroom a better place to be for these five and six year Olds.”
