I am a 5th year teacher, and a 4th year Athletic Director in Chicago Public Schools at Manley Career Academy High School. I am a product of CPS, an alumnus of John Marshall Metropolitan High School, and I fully understand the struggles of my students. My school is located in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, and as a result, my students have been subjected to multiple levels of violence and trauma on a daily basis. It is my life's mission to help lead these boys and girls into adulthood, making them productive citizens of society and defame the stereotype of being a menace. Being a former professional basketball player, I know that dreams come true and I push my students to the max every single day and let them know that if they work hard, dedicate themselves and show fortitude, they can achieve all of their goals no matter how far fetched they may seem. Dreams do come true!
