As we begin the school year virtually with the hope of returning to traditional, the alphabet games will be used in small virtual groups. The teacher's hands will manipulate the activities by student instruction. When we return, they will be used in the same manner but manipulated by the student. The donation of these learning activities will build upon letter sound skills which are foundational components to strengthen my students' reading fluency. These activities allow them to focus on initial and final sounds of words. Letter sound knowledge helps my students as they begin blending letter sounds to form the words in texts.
