By providing this equipment to my student's you have allowed them to experience and accomplish things they would never have had a chance before. Thank you again for your donation towards my project. This classroom project was brought to life by Target and one other donor.Circus Arts in P.E.- Diabolos
Funded Mar 9, 2016Upon receiving these materials (Diablos) the students were thrilled to have a new and challenging activity to participate in. Many students explained how they liked the different colorful designs of the Diablos. Others explained to me that it was difficult to get control of it at first but with practice they became pros! This equipment gave the students an extra incentive to be prepared and listen during the day.
My classes are using the resources in a variety of different ways. One way we are using this equipment is through building cooperative team building. They are learning to accomplish a task together and encourage the other students in the class. I noticed a drastic change in my classes while using this equipment compared to other activities they have already done. Their behavior was better, they were more focused and their transitioning was smoother.
This project boosted my teaching ability by allowing me to better assess the students behavior and social skills. It allowed me to observe who leaders were in the class. What is great about this is that all types of kids can do this activity not just ones that are athletic; so it gets the entire class engaged! This project was a terrific fit for this physical education program and the community. Thank you so much!”

My classes are using the resources in a variety of different ways. The first way we are using this equipment is through building cooperative team building. They are learning to accomplish a task together and cheer on not only their team but other teams as well. The second way these materials are helping my students is problem solving. They are given a task using the equipment and must work as a team to figure out the solution; we use the equipment individually and as partners. I noticed a drastic change in my classes while using this equipment compared to things they have already done. Their behavior was better, they were more focused and their transitioning was smoother.
