My students are eager to learn, creative and full of energy. They are a diverse group of children that come from a low socio-economic neighborhood. Each child is unique in their own way. They have their own unique learning style. Many of my students have learning disabilities and are English language learners. Our school is a Title 1 school, meaning that more than half of the students are low-income and don’t have the extra support and resources needed for them to reach proficiency levels in all of the core academic areas.
