White Board for Wonderful 3rd Graders
Funded Jun 7, 2021Thank you!
There are not enough words to express my gratitude and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are very appreciative of your support for our education
My students have proved to be resilient in a challenging year! The magnetic whiteboard easel in my classroom for mental health check ins and interactive math centers worked wonders last year and we continue to use it this year too!
They say it takes a village, thank you for being an important part of ours!”

Funded Mar 3, 2020Thank you so much for giving my students paper to enhance their learning with the ability to publish and print their work and "Time for Kids" subscription so they can submerge in real-world events.
"Time for Kids" children magazines is a learning fun educational magazine that has strengthened my scholars' skills with printable activities such as writing prompts, quizzes, problem sets, hands-on investigations, and more.
What's so cool is my subscription came with comprehension print and digital resources, including lesson plans , differentiated tools, assessments, and activities to assist in meeting my instructional goals. I have accessed many digital articles on topics I needed to teach from current events. I've also included videos that have captured my students attention. Which has built essential background knowledge. Without your donation my students and I would have not gotten the chance to experience just a great tool. Thanks again.”

Funded Aug 26, 2020Thank you so much for my classroom microphone headset. My students and I think it's a great device. With this microphone I am able to distribute my voice throughout the classroom. Every student is able to hear me at the same amplified level no matter where they're seated.
Using a microphone allows me to speak in a nurturing tone that can be heard over classroom sounds and disturbances. Also, with less vocal strain and fatigue. I feel less tired at the end of the day and more efficient by not having to continuously repeat my statements. This audio solution assists with classroom management, helping to reduce discipline issues and stress for myself and my students overall.
Lastly, students spend 75% of their school day involved in listening. The primary channel for learning is hearing. The better children can hear, the more they can learn. Thanks to your donation my students and I have been able to experience those positive results listed above with our class microphone.”

Cheese! Bringing Math & Science Documents to Life
Funded Jul 31, 2020Thank you so much for our class document camera. My students and I think it's an awesome device. There are so many ways to utilize this machine. Since we received it, I have been able to use my interactive display to model problem solving strategies for my students to observe before they try it for themselves. I've also shared handouts when using the document camera; where my scholars have enjoyed working on it as a team . What's great about this camera is no matter where your students location, in the classroom or remotely at home they all will receive the activity I'm sharing the same way. Our new normal with social distancing we have to be creative when teaching math and science lessons.
Also, I have saved images of what I did in class on the document camera, and placed on our classroom website to share with parents. Scanning a textbook page is another great feature I have used. I am currently planning an introductory science lab lesson where I will demonstrate how to dissect a lima bean and describe and explain the job of each part. My scholars and I are equally excited about this experiment.
Because of your donation, my lessons have been easier to present and have made learning more fun for my students. Thank you again for your generosity.”

Funded Jun 8, 2020Thank you so much for the the beach balls, bubble wands, frisbees, coloring activity packets and giant freezer pop treats. My students' surprise and happy reactions brought warmth to my heart and joyous tears to my face. Knowing that such wonderful compassionate people like yourselves would do such a selfless act to bring happiness to students who rarely experience that emotion.
The climate of my school district is composed of needy families who rarely have the funds to provide a fun, healthy outlet outside of school for their child.
Because of your donation, my scholars were able to be outside in the fresh air using the beach ball to play dodgeball. They also threw frisbees with a partner while using safe distancing, blowing bubbles, and cooling off with their giant freezer pop treats. In addition, they enjoyed coloring in their activity packets. Thank you so much for making a positive impact in my students' life.”
