I work at a inner city elementary school in Oklahoma . I am the school counselor for Pre-k through Forth grade. A majority of my students and their families are struggling to have all of their needs met. It is sad to say that because of this, education a lot of the time is neglected. The students in my school don't know how to react to the golden rule. "Do onto others as you want them to do to you." My students are very eager and excited to learn not only academics, but also life skills.
