My class of thirty second graders come from very low income families. Our school is surrounded by a community that is faced with gang violence. The majority of these students are reading at one to two grade levels below their current grade. Four of my students are RSP, which means they have some kind of a learning disability. These students need resources which will allow them to succeed.
