One cannot put a price on the importance of reading. Through read-along books, students are given the opportunity to see, hear and listen to the written word. It does not matter what level they are reading at, with read-along books everyone learns. Each day students are given the opportunity to rotate between eight different stations. These activities are designed to stimulate the students' minds in a self-discovery fashion. Reading along with books is one of the stations. Because of the large number of students attending my school, it is difficult to have access to the few read-along books that the school has available.
