  • Listen While You Work

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

I want to sincerely thank you for both your kindness and generosity that you have shown both myself and my students. It's people like you that show our students how much others care not only about them, but about their education and future.

These headphones have been a great addition to our classroom. Not only do the students love the colors and comfort, but they were excited to finally have headphones that actually worked!

The headphones you provided are used both daily and very often. Students use them during center time (in which they are engaged in online curriculum activities), listening centers (when they can enjoy a book being read to them), to play math games, for computer class, and to enjoy some of their favorite online games.

Your kindness has made a huge difference in our every day classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Fun on Fridays

    Funded Feb 16, 2025

I want to sincerely thank you for both your generosity and kindness! Our students work so hard during the week and every Friday they look forward to having some fun and playing with their friends. Because of you, they will be able to have lots more options of things to play with during Fun Friday!

You don't even know how happy you have just made 25 first graders! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Rotating Around the Room

    Funded Feb 5, 2025

I want to sincerely thank you for both your kindness and generosity in fulfilling the items requested to help out my classroom.

Over the last month, we have changed up our curriculum and have gone back to doing learning centers. Learning centers have been a great addition, but we struggle with finding a place for everyone to sit. The stools will be a great addition to our classroom, since we will no longer have to drag chairs back and forth to different tables in the classroom.

Not only do I appreciate your kindness, but I know my students will as well! Thank you for everything you do, and for investing in our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Lets Get It Started...

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. You have made such a huge impact in our classroom and given our students the basics they need to continue about the school day successfully.

Because of you, each of our students were given a binder to house their folders and all the important things they need each and every day. Our students are never without a pencil, an eraser, a crayon, or a glue stick. You have helped to make sure our kids have everything they need and we couldn't be more grateful.

It's people like you that make such a huge impact not only to myself but to many students. You are simply amazing! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Listen While You Work

    Funded May 9, 2023

I want to again thank you for your kindness and generosity to both myself and my students. We were so excited to receive our new headphones and as soon as they box arrived, they went right to use.

The headphones couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time. The month of May is a very busy time for online assessments and each student is required to have their own headphones while working. Most of our headphones have been broken and we have been in dire need. So we were all thrilled when our new ones arrived.

These headphones are both comfortable and durable and the kids said they worked great while using them.

We truly appreciate your donation to our classroom! Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Fun Fridays First!

    Funded Dec 28, 2022

What can I say, this might be hands down one of the best donations our classroom has received (according to the kiddos).

I'm pretty certain they may have woke up the neighbors with their screams when they walked into the classroom on that December morning to see all the new games and activities that were displayed for them to see.

These activities and games are not only something my students look forward to every Friday, but it also gives them the opportunity to work together, team build, and have age appropriate conversations with their classmates.

They love building with all the different stem kits, magnet tiles, and legos and I love watching them team work to put together the puzzles. And watching their creativity with kinetic sand is amazing!

We are forever grateful to you and the fun you have provided for us for the past Fridays and all the Fridays to come!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Shining Reading Stars

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

I want to again thank you for your generosity and kindness that you have both shown and given to our classroom. We are forever grateful and my students couldn't be more excited to do their reading homework.

Our reading stars were so excited when I opened the new prize box to reveal the awesome prizes that were inside. They all started screaming and cheering in excitement.

Every Friday they immediately run over to our reading stars chart and count to see if they have enough stickers to earn them a prize from the bin. They look forward to Friday every week!

I want to sincerely thank you for bringing the biggest smile to my kiddos faces. We are forever grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

  • Essentially Excellent

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

I want to again thank you for your kindness and generosity to our classroom. Your contributions have helped us make life in our classroom that much better!

All of the materials are used on a daily basis and have been put to good use so far!

The paper cutter has been a life saver. Every March we do a kindness challenge and make rings to hang along the window of all students that have displayed kindness (as seen in picture). Cutting the strips was so much easier with having the cutter readily available.

We use the wireless controller daily as well, helps us to click through our slides and the kiddos love using it as well. The star of the day loves helping out with the teacher task of being in charge of the classwork being viewed.

The reward stickers put a smile on the kids faces every Friday when they earn one on their spelling test.

The list goes on and on of the wonderful materials we were able to get with this project. We are both thankful and blessed that you chose to help our classroom.

Thank you again, we truly appreciate all you have done for us!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Boyd

We are a first grade classroom within a K-8 school, consisting of almost 1,000 students. The majority of our students come from low-income families. Most of our students start the school year without the basics (a backpack, crayons, pencils, etc.). We strive as a community, school, and as educators, to give our students as much as we can. However, with the ever growing need, it's sometimes difficult to provide students with everything we hope that they could have, especially when it comes to the financial aspect of it. The one thing about our students, is that they are very appreciative. The little that we can provide for them, they are 100% grateful. And if you were able to help them, I know they would be above and beyond thankful!
