Basic Needs For My Students
Funded Mar 24, 2025My students and I were extremely happy when our donation arrived. My students were excited and overjoyed that they will be able to go to our "needs closet" for deodorant, pads, toothpaste, and soap. The girls were grateful for the pads because it is hard for their parents to always afford to keep them in their home. It was like a relief for them and the smiles were from ear to ear.
My students are using the resources daily. Many asked for toothpaste right away. Three of the girls came to me privately and asked if they can take deodorant. I explained that they can have whatever they need.
I truly want to thank you again for your generous donation. It is people like you who help to make a difference in other people's lives. We are truly grateful and appreciative.”

Healthy Snacks Needed!
Funded Jan 8, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness. My students had a smile from ear to ear when they saw all the healthy snacks. They were amazed that someone they don't know donated to complete strangers. It was really an eye opening experience for them, since many of them don't experience that type of kindness in their daily lives.
My students are already enjoying your healthy snacks. Many of them were sorting out the different types of nuts, bars and soups. They all wanted to help organize and store the snacks for when they were hungry. Not only does it help to keep them focus in class, but it led to a discussion about helping others in need.
I just want to thank you again and let you know that you're appreciated and awesome.”

Funded Oct 24, 2023Your donation has made a great impact in our classroom and on my students this year. They were amazed by your generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness. They truly felt special and were extremely happy by this kind and selfless gesture. When they helped unpack all the boxes their faces lit up, especially those students who had no school supplies to begin the year with. They couldn't believe their eyes.
My students use all the supplies daily, especially all the colored pencils. Since many students didn't have notebooks or binders this year, I organized binders for those students with loose leaf paper, so they would be prepared for the year. We have a supply corner where all the students can go when they need something.
We truly appreciate your support and dedication in helping to making learning easier for others. Thank you again”

Funded Sep 27, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation.
Many of them were sorting out the different types of nuts and asking, what type of nut is this? Not only does it help to keep them focused in class, but it led to a lesson on the different types of nuts that are out there. They Googled the names of the nuts and then ate each one.
I just want to thank you again and let you know that you're awesome.”

Help Me Help Them!
Funded Jul 6, 2023My class and I would like to thank you for the materials you donated to us. We use our pencils, sharpeners, erasers and headphones in math and science. My students need pencils and erasers daily which we now keep in the wonderful desk organizers you donated. It helps eliminate any embarrassment a student may feel because they can't afford to buy or replenish supplies during the year. The headphones were necessary so my students can complete their benchmark exams and also work independently on math and science skills.
My students were extremely excited when our packages arrived and were also grateful that complete strangers wanted to help make their year a productive one. Those students who didn't have any supplies the first week of school were given pencils, so they were able to complete their assignments. I was able to set up an area with extra pencils and the sharpener for all students to utilize throughout the school year.
Your donation also led my class to have a discussion about generosity and doing good deeds for others without expecting anything in return. This project really made an impact on my students personally, letting them know that there are people out in the world who do care about them having a fair chance at a wonderful future.”

Funded Feb 21, 2023Thank you very much for your generous donation. My students were extremely happy when all the boxes were delivered to our classroom. My students worked together to unpack and organize all the fundraiser items. As a class, my students put together over over 100 holiday bags and created a flier to share with the rest of the school. They all had smiles on their faces and were happy that the money we raised will help others, especially those who can't afford to buy a graduation tee-shit. We were able to raise over $250 towards our fifth grade graduation.
We all want to thank you again for your kindness and generosity.”
