Kindergartners Need to Sing!
Funded Dec 20, 2011I would like to thank you all again for the wonderful donations you have given to my class. My students have been able to listen and dance to music from all around the world! There are pictures posted of the students doing a song and dance from Ghana called Highlife. It tells the story of a village that is preparing a dinner, but they have to catch the main ingredient, a chicken! There are so many hand movements, and body movements in this dance. They love it! They even got to make masks from Africa!
Also, as a teacher, being able to give my students the opportunity to learn about other countries, and have fun at the same time is rewarding. They ask for more! I plan to continue adding songs, and finding dances to incorporate into the education of my students.
Thank you all again for the support! Without you, music, dance, and song would be eliminated from the classroom.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Marrufo

Funded Mar 31, 2008Wow. This is just amazing! Thank you all so much for this generous gift. I can't wait to see my students' reactions when they walk into the classroom for the first time to use these microscopes. You are all so wonderful to provide such a hands on learning experience for my students. I am truly overwhelmed with emotion right now. You are all so great and this gift is greatly appreciated.
With Sincere Appreciation,
Mrs. Anna ”
