Our students are an amazing group of children ranging in age from 5 to 8 years old. Our students face challenges such as autism, developmental delays, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. With so many different learning styles and such a broad span of abilities, we incorporate various methods of teaching in order to educate the whole child. We love to listen to music and follow along with educational materials that we will have access to using the Apple TV and projector. Our school is one of great acceptance and strives to provide mainstreaming as much as possible and when appropriate. In addition, the atmosphere is exemplary in terms of teaching acceptance among all students. Mainstream teachers work to provide experiences in order to best incorporate our students by pairing them for various educational and social experiences. Our school is a diverse fun place of learning and our classroom would like to make use of all the technology that is now made available via Internet access.
