The materials and supplies that I am requesting will literally be life-changing for my students. The benefit will be twofold. First, with many of the students being "latch key kids", the materials will enable them to be in a safe environment with adult supervision, engaging, productive, and dendrite-stimulating activities, which in turn will keep them off of the streets and out of trouble Secondly, these materials will help open the door to a world of new opportunities and career paths to follow. These materials will help to foster creativity, problem solving, sportsmanship, prepare them for real life and provide hours of fun.

About my class
