Preschoolers Role Playing!
Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you, donors. Upon receiving the dress-up chest, our students enjoyed role-playing, pretending to be their parents, grandparents, and superheroes, talking on the phone, and taking care of their stuffed animals. Acting out the role of various people is an example of how much my students enjoyed the dress-up chest. These scenarios may come from real-life experiences, learned behavior, or inspired by creativity. Now our students can feel comfortable and confident to role-play by tapping into their creativity in their preschool environment. Also, there are enough items in the chest to share with peers, and the chest and accessories are of good quality.
The dramatic play Dress up chest promotes language development.
It has inspired our young students to communicate, share ideas, and learn problem-solving skills with their peers. Our students can now role-play, encouraging them to find various ways to be creative and explore ways to manage their feelings. With this in mind, dramatic play is essential for early childhood development.
Thank you again, donors, for supporting our youngest learners.”

Funded Sep 7, 2022Thank you, for supporting our youngest learners. When we received the Art Center and accessories, my students were excited to explore the educational materials. The materials have enabled my students to strengthen their fine motor skills, letter word knowledge, and language development.
Each week the students learn about a new letter of the week, so having the art materials supports our weekly lessons by encouraging students to draw and tell stories and create the letter and number of the week using the stamps. In addition, to having the playdough stamps, our students can make the letter of their name, which helps them to identify them quickly and support with identifying the upper and lower case alphabets numbers.
Art enables our students to support their emotions and social skills, for instance, expressing themselves through art, sharing, taking turns, and enjoying interacting with others. Furthermore, the play dough accessories encourage my young learners to explore sensory skills by making numbers, letters, shapes, and animals and pretending to make people and objects.
When students find it challenging to manage their feelings, the staff has noticed that students select to draw a picture and explain how they feel by just sitting there using different art materials to create a collage. Some may choose playdough to squeeze/roll around a ball in their hands. In contrast, the child explores the art material in various ways. Art is a stress reliever. And having these materials works in the best interest of our students.
There are various benefits to having the Arts Crafts Supply Center in our classroom.

I can't say. Thank you enough, donors. Thank you for providing the alphabet and the number stamps, which are excellent for recognizing alphabets and numbers, sharing and teaching various other skills, literacy, vocabulary, fine motor, math, eye-hand coordination, and so many more skills by investigating through art materials. In as much as supporting our whole curriculum, students can investigate by exploring their creative side. Lastly, we love the sizeable reusable container the items come in. They are hassle-free and excellent for distributing and storing. The materials are an exact match to the container and making it easier for students to identify the art material and put the correct items into the proper receptacle.
Each compartment comes with various art materials divided into clear containers, which are excellent for distributing and storing. The students can see through the container for easy sorting and cleaning. We are genuinely grateful for your support.”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Most of our preschoolers live in an apartment complex and cannot explore nature, for example, investigating various types of bugs, such as ladybugs, butterflies, leaf beetle, and lantern fly!
My students love investigating bugs and viewing them. The actual specimen casing promotes rich language and enables students to engage with their peers and teachers, sharing and asking to find the various bug in the case. Thank you, donors. Our students love exploring the actual bugs; upon receiving the kits, the students were excited. Thank you for bringing nature into our classroom, which has enriched our science center by being an excellent learning tool.”
