  • Weekly Magazine Subscription

    Funded Dec 23, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Thanks to your generosity all of my students are able to read and enjoy their own weekly magazine. Students truly enjoy being able to have their own magazine. Students like that they are able to write in their magazine and then they are able to take their weekly magazine home with them to share with their families. The articles in the magazine are current events and are written in kid friendly language. The colorful magazine entice the students and they look forward to each weekly magazine.”

  • Dependable Supplies

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

I want to take the time to thank you again for your generous donations. The materials received as part of this project are materials that can be used this year with my current students as well as used in the future with new students. Your donation impacts so many students.

With your support of donations you were able to help the overall functionality of our classroom. The materials help with organization and cleanliness of our classroom. The supplies are necessary supplies for our daily routines now. Students are developing more responsibility by assisting with clean up at the end of the day. The pencil sharpener is one of the most important supplies in the classroom. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullally

  • Let's Get Learning!

    Funded Feb 3, 2024

The students in my classroom and I would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude for your support in funding our "Let's Get Learning" project. Through your donation for this project our classroom received a wide variety of supplies and materials. The students faces lit up with excitement each time a box was delivered to our room. We could not wait to have the supplies and materials in hand and begin to put everything to use.

The materials in this project were used to help support students at various academic levels in our room. The academic level of students in our classroom range from some students working above grade level, some students below grade level and some students below grade level. The materials such as the various levels of workbooks and notebooks are used daily by students. The organizational bins are put to use and allow students to have access to organized materials in an accessible location.

These resources will continue to be used this current school year and some resources will continue to be used in the future years as well.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullally

  • Let's Fill Our Bellies So We Can Fill Our Minds!

    Funded May 12, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students in my classroom were so excited when they saw the snacks. They could not believe that the snacks were for them and that they would be able to eat them. Students are able to have the snacks if they are feeling hungry! This really helps give the students a boost of energy. Students are then able to concentrate more when they are not as hungry. They enjoy being able to snack while working. Students are so excited when they are able to choose from the snacks. The variety of snacks allows the students to pick what they want. The snacks are all choices that are student approved, as they say how delicious they are. We truly appreciate your contribution to this project!”

  • Wiggle While We Work

    Funded Sep 1, 2016

My students love the new resources we received as a result of your donations! The students are able to sit on the ball chairs and bounce while they work. Being able to slightly bounce on the chair allows students to release some energy constructively through fidgeting while remaining on task and completing their assignments. When using the wobble cushions students are able to sit on them at their desks as well as bring them to other areas in the classroom, such as to the carpet where many of our whole group lessons take place. It has made a world of difference for students who have a hard time remaining in their personal space when on the rug with the rest of the class. Since the students can bring the wobble cushions with them to the rug they have a specific place to sit and therefore remain in their space on the rug. They are also able to wobble back and forth to help with their concentration.

When the materials arrived the students were beyond excited. They could not wait until they were able to sit on the ball chairs and wobble cushions. They enjoy being able to use these materials instead of having to sit on their regular chair all day.

In the future the students will be able to continue to use the wobble cushions and the ball chairs as we continue to learn throughout the year. One of our next units of study will be learning about first responders. The students will continue to be able to use these resources during readers and writers workshop as well.

    Thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

  • Love Learning

    Funded Feb 10, 2014

Thank you for your generous donations that have already had a great deal of impact on the learning of my students. My students were thrilled when all of our new books arrived! They could not wait to choose a brand new book to read. I wish I was able to share with you the expression on all of their faces when they saw how many new books were added to our classroom library, all because of your generosity.

Through the project that you helped fund my students are becoming better readers and have been working hard learning new strategies to use when reading nonfiction texts. They have been able to learn about a variety of different topics as well as nonfiction text features such as table of contents, diagrams, graphs, photographs, captions etc. They have been identifying main idea and supporting details and have been writing summaries.

This project also helped my teaching. I have been able to meet and confer with students during reading workshop and focus on nonfiction texts with all of my students. This was previously difficult because I did not have a wide range of levels of nonfiction texts in my classroom library. All of these texts have been used daily by my students and will continue to be used throughout my teaching career. Without your help, many of my students would not have been able to make all of the progress that they did. My students in future years will continue to benefit from your donation. You truly have helped make the world a better place, one student at a time.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullally

  • Hooked on Reading

    Funded Feb 5, 2013

Saying the words "thank you" does not seem sufficient enough to truly explain how grateful and appreciative I am for your donation. Through the project that you have helped fund my students are becoming better readers each and every day. Through the use of the listening centers students are able to hear fluent and expressive reading as they listen to fiction stories and learn through a variety of nonfiction texts. When using the Readers Theater scripts my students have learned to work cooperatively and have had a confidence boost as they act out their roles in front of the class. I have seen deep comprehension taking place when students buddy read together using the partner scripts and ask one another questions. The month by month fluency kit has helped students develop better fluency by reading fun poems.

Since this project has been funded and the materials were received my students have been using your donations day in and day out. Without your help, many of my students would not have been able to make all of the progress that they did. My students in future years will continue to benefit from your donation. You truly have helped make the world a better place, one student at a time.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullally
