Mice Needed!
Funded Dec 29, 2023Hello and thank you for your contribution! Your thoughtfulness to aid my students in easing their learning is very appreciated.
My students, especially the seniors, are working on achieving their Microsoft Word certifications. Before the mice, my students were dependent on the mouse pad on the laptops. With the mice, the students can mimic an office setting and use the tools in MS Word much easier.
Half of my students have earned their certification, and are very grateful for the ease that the mice have provided. Thank you for helping my students!”

New Classroom Materials Needed
Funded Jun 26, 2023Thank you so much for helping my amazing students! I have attached the pictures of the A frame sign that is placed outside out school store. Here, my students have created this week "sales" and information.
It stands right outside the store's door for all passerby's to see. Our store used to be a flower shop, and a lot of students had no idea we are located there now.
Now, as students come in in the morning, they now know where we are located. If you see, we have hours of operation, which has changed form last year.
We also sell slushies, and we are hoping to have an ongoing "Slushie of the Day" flavors posted.
Thank you again for helping my awesome kiddos!”

Funded Jan 26, 2023Thank you so much for helping us with this simple project -- a printer. It seems small, but it isn't.
My students are on the computer doing work online all day - and to be able to give them a chance to use paper and pencil, well, they jump for it. Paper seems to be going out of the norm for my students to use.
In my marketing class, we go through a lot of paper - printing things like guides on how to create a marketing flyer and or ad -- I am able to print off directions and areas for my students to copy. Kids also love coloring too!
Thank you to Jason Kelse's foundation in helping to fund this!”

Funded Dec 31, 2022Hello!
First, thank you for helping my students out. I know it seems way to simple to have construction paper, markers and crayons -- but they are needed.
My students completed a project were they had to make a display window in a shoe box. The supplies you help provided were put to good use. My students like to put away the computer and work with their hands creativity. These supplies were very much appreciated to complete this project.
Also, we are celebrating all our cultures at the end of the month. We have over 31 different countries represented in the school, with over 50 different languages spoken. One of the big things we do that the kids love, is the door decorating contest. Every year, the students choose a country to represent. The supplies you helped with are also being used for this. The whole school is decorated and it looks amazing!”

Funded Dec 20, 2021Hello, and thank you! I know that little things, such as paper, glue and scissors may not seem to be a lot, but it truly is.
My students are in that "digital" age, they have been asking to do things on paper. They are tired of looking at their Chromebooks all day. This is why the printer paper is so important! It is amazing how much more work they get done using "the old fashion" way (their words, not mine!)
With teaching a Marketing program -- I often have my students create things using their creative minds to put together visual elements of a story. Currently, I am having my students create a show box representation of a store window -- to demonstrate their knowledge of a visual merchandising window for a particular store.
Thank you for y our gift!”

Paper, Pens, Pencils, and Markers Needed
Funded Aug 21, 2021Thank you so much for these materials! It is a relief that students can grab a piece of paper and a pen without them saying "I don't have one". or not do any of the work because they don't want to ask. It was frustrating to think a student didn't bring a pen or notebook to class. Gone are the excuses that I cannot do this, I don't have paper or a pen.
You have impacted 100 students! Thank you so much! With all the pressures of my students getting to school, this one less thing to worry about. I know it sounds simple, but it really huge!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Owarzani
