The students of our school are eager learners that wish to prepare themselves for their future. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, family structures and economic levels. They come with different levels of vocabulary acquisition. The social economic status of students can affect their access to attain vocabulary. One of the main goals at our school is to prepare students for college. An abundance of vocabulary is necessary for spelling, reading, writing and math success. Our students are thirsty to share their experiences, knowledge and ideas; they just need the right words.
