Hands on Learning for EVERY Learner!!
Funded Aug 19, 2023The impact that additional resources has on our children is beyond measure. Our students with disabilities get overlooked because their needs do not fit within the norm of the regular curriculum. With that in mind, teachers who work with this population work tirelessly to engineer ideas to create games, activities, and collect resources to help special kids learn.
Thank you for the additional resources for my special students. We will use these items daily and their impact will last a lifetime.”

Funded Feb 8, 2022Thank you so much for donating to the purchase of our new novels. Having classroom sets of these novels will allow each student to have their own copy of the book we are studying whether they are in the classroom or at home working.
These books are a great way to reinforce the state standards that have already been taught in the classroom. The novel sets will not only cover multiple reading genres, but also include skills from both the science and social studies curriculums as well.
I have already used a few of the novel sets this year, and the students are loving them! Can't wait to use the others, and to continue to add to our classroom collection.”

Funded Dec 1, 2020Thank you so much for donating to the purchase of our IXL software. Students in my classroom have been learning onsite and virtually through a blended learning model. IXL has allowed students to work at their own pace to reach their maximum potential whether they are in the classroom or at home working virtually. IXL has also allowed me to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
IXL has been a great way to reinforce the math and language arts skills that have already been taught in the classroom. IXL allows students to review skills previously taught, get extra practice, and/or be retaught if needed. We have used the program since October and my students have truly been engaged in their learning.
During these unusual times, learning has been more digital than ever before. With these tools you have helped provide, no matter what learning model the student is participating in, they can achieve success.”

Funded Aug 25, 2020Thank you so much for making a donation for our Chromebook Sleeves! By providing students with a padded laptop sleeve to house their Chromebook, charger, and stylus pen, it has helped keep all their technology tools in one location. Most importantly, the laptop sleeves have added extra protection to help prevent damage to the technology.
My students loved receiving these! They have been learning onsite and virtually through a blended learning model this school year. Every Thursday, all students take their Chromebooks home and bring them back to school the following Monday. The protection of the sleeves has ensured us that the Chromebooks will last for years to come.

Making Our Own Rulers, Stem Activity
Funded Jan 14, 2020Thank you so much for donating the materials for Making Our Own Rulers! We made these rulers over several days as we learned all about inches, half inches, quarter inches and eighth inches. Then, students used these rulers to measure objects around our classroom.
The students loved receiving these! They were not only able to use this ruler for class projects and assignments, but they were able to create and design something they could use everyday! They were able to explore measurements through a hands-on STEM activity.
Students will get to take these rulers with them, and add to them as fifth graders! We will continue working on gaining STEM materials for our classroom!”

Mrs. Wilson
