Student Success and Community Impact
Funded Mar 1, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity! Our third-grade students exhibit a strong desire to serve others and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the betterment of our community. These items served as valuable tools, imparting essential skills that empowered them not only within our school but also in our broader community. The assortment of snacks, boxes, stickers, prizes, and other materials were utilized to assemble care packages, fostering the development of these students into impactful contributors to both their learning environment and their aspirations as future community leaders.
Our commitment is to ensure that no student ever feels excluded or lacking in resources. Your support provided the necessary means for our students to thrive as proficient readers and learners. Ultimately, our aim is to cultivate a community of third-graders who are not only academically successful but also happy and healthy. Daily access to snacks at school is crucial, and your contribution made a significant difference by ensuring that all students have these essentials readily available, eliminating any feelings of isolation or disadvantage.”

My students are enjoying all of the new books during our shared reading time. The science kits and tools have allowed my students to have more hands on materials to learn with. They will continue to use these new tools through out the school year. We will be sending you pictures of your donations very soon. Thank you again for believing in my students, my class, and me as the teacher. You are truly making a difference.”

Teaching Techies
Funded Oct 16, 2017Thank you for the new iPad to add to our classroom. This iPad has engaged my students in all of their learning. We have used the iPad to test for library points, watch books, play games that reinforce our learning and so much more. The headphones have helped us have better access to both the iPad and our classroom computers. In the age of technology that we are in it is hard to engage some students that are used to utilizing technology at their homes. The iPad has helped me reach those students in a way that they feel comfortable.”

Funded Oct 9, 2017Thank you for giving to my classroom and as a result giving to my students. Your support gave my students access to better seating that actually helps them to better engage in their learning. The wiggle seats have been a big success for students that require more movement throughout the day. Those active students have had better success at engaging in discussions and classwork because while they sit they are able to wiggle and move as they need without distracting others around them or feeling like they need to get up and move and therefore loss focus on the task. The stools have helped maximize our classroom space allowing for more floor work with hands on tools because they cut down on the clutter. Thank you for helping us be as successful as we can be in 1B!”

Funded Oct 3, 2017Thank you for giving to this project so that my classroom could have new materials to engage students in learning and reading. One of the best ways to learn is through hands-on activities and play and by providing monetary support for my project you helped provide a new learning opportunity for my students. The games have been played and begged for, all of the materials have been used and the students love them all! The blending tubs have been used several times already. Blending is a skill that is especially difficult for first graders and by them having the ability to practice this skill in a real-life, hands-on way they have really begun to truly understand and master the skill!”

Funded Feb 28, 2017My students have thoroughly enjoyed the new classroom materials. I have read the books aloud to them to help introduce and reinforce skills that we are working on and the students have gotten to look through and read the books themselves in work stations. The new materials have made my students feel more independent and that helps their self-esteem and their work ethic.
When the boxes arrived the students were so thrilled that we had to stop class to open them right then and there! They couldn't wait to see what was inside! The joy on their faces was unmatchable as they saw the new materials that they knew would be theirs to use soon.
Thank you for helping me provide for my class. Your donation helped us be able to have new materials that has increased our knowledge and love for learning.”

Funded Dec 24, 2016Thank you so much for the new art supplies! My students have loved getting to paint their words and illustrate their work. The new paints and paintbrushes and markers have helped students that are usually very reluctant to write and spell different words. One student in particular that does not enjoy any kind of word work spent 45 minutes painting new words all because it was how he got to paint! All of my students have begun to use new and exciting vocabulary all because it can be done in color! The excitement on their faces says it all. Thank you from 22 overjoyed, creative first graders!”

Funded Oct 17, 2016Thank you for your selfless giving to me and my students. Our new organizational tools have truly helped us to not waste unnecessary time. We love our visual station aid and it helps us keep track of where we need to go. Our plastic cart with drawers helps to keep our guided reading and math materials together and ready for each group and the new expo markers and marker holder are so fun and make writing on the board a breeze. We are truly blessed to have people like you that help us with making our classroom a better place!”

Stations! Stations! Stations!
Funded Oct 10, 2016Thank you for providing materials for my students to be able to engage in learning and reading with new station activities and games. One of the best ways to learn is through play and by providing monetary support for my project you helped provide a new learning opportunity for my students. The books you helped to purchase have been read and loved by many, the games have been played and begged for, all of the materials have been used and the students love them all. The sight word fishing game in particular helped reach a student that has been struggling with those basic words all year long. He loves to fish so that game has been a hit with him and his reading is improving!”
