  • Awesome Alphabet Centers For Amazing Kindergarteners

    Funded Oct 23, 2013

Thank you so much for your donations! Your donation will impact my students as they emerge as readers! I cannot wait to use them in my classroom. I have several students struggling with learning their letters and I am confident that these resources will engage these students and help them to see learning their letters as fun and exciting. My paraeducator and I will be thrilled to try out the new strategies in our small groups with students. I am so grateful for the wonderful friends, family, and strangers who have donated. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sears

  • Help Their Dreams Come True!

    Funded Jul 18, 2012

Thank you so much for funding this classroom project! I am so excited to present my class with their new props to use during developmental centers. It will put a smile on my face to see my students imagining themselves as doctors, chefs, police officers, teachers, etc. It will help them to create their dreams and see them as attainable.

I would not have been able to afford these supplemental materials on my own. Your donation means a great deal to myself and my students. I thank you so, very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sears

Our school is a large elementary school in Colorado. Most of these students (90 or so percent) experience poverty and about 70% are second language learners. Our school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum, in which the goal is create learners that are internationally minded. I expect to have between 25-32 kindergartners in my classroom next year. I can expect that they will be working towards becoming knowledgeable, principled, balanced, and caring. I love working with kindergarten students because they are excited to be in school and make so much growth throughout the school year.
