  • School Is In Session!

    Funded Oct 11, 2021

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. Having a working printer with enough ink for the school year is a teacher's dream. Thank you for making my dream come true! Not only am I able to print task sheets for my students, but if something is too challenging or easy, I can adjust on the fly and make the work more individualized.

Having access to this technology in my room, makes for seamless teaching. I am no longer have to run to the copy room for copies for my students. I can print on demand!

I have become the Differentiation Queen.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Goldberg

Thank you so much for funding my project! What a great way to begin this unprecedented school year. I cannot wait to start purchasing educational games and slides for my students and watch them grow academically, even though they’ll be learning from home this year.

  • It's My Turn on the Tablet

    Funded Oct 15, 2019

Thank you all for funding our technology project! Having tablets for my students is increasing the use of our new educational online programs in school which is, in turn, encouraging students to use the programs while at home.

The students feel confident in practicing their literacy and math skills and which is transferring over to our classroom work and teacher/student discussions in class.

The technology is also helping with behavior management and compliance in class. The students are eager to use the tablets so they follow the rules to keep them safe.

Now all students have access to their own tablet. This is such a big timesaver!

Once again, I thank you and my fabulous students are very thankful!”

  • Paper, Paper Everywhere!

    Funded Dec 15, 2018

Thank you for your generous donations to my class. All of the copy paper and journals will have a great impact on my students this year and years to come. Copy paper is useful and necessary to create items to enhance students' learning, create games and review work for my students.

Journals are important to see the progress of student writing throughout the year. Your gift has unlocked the many resources that will be made available for my students this year. Your gift is extremely appreciated and will be put to great use this year and into the next school year. Thank you!!!”

  • Colorful Anchor Charts Get My Attention

    Funded Sep 5, 2018

Thank you all so much for your generous donations to our classroom project! Accept this as a small token of our gratitude. My students were so happy to see all the boxes of chart paper and markers entering our classroom. They get so happy because they know its all for them.

We use chart paper for all sorts of projects in our class. My students rely on anchor charts to help them stay on task and remember key ideas and details. We also jot down their ideas and contributions to the lesson to help them remember their thoughts.

We appreciate all of our gifts. Once again, Thank you!”

  • I Need a New Marker!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for all your generous donations! The classroom supplies will have a great impact on my students this year. Dry erase markers are essential in an early childhood classroom and were running low. Dry erase markers tend to disappear and dry out and we now have enough to last until the end of the year and help start next year off as well. My students use and will continue to use the materials daily. My students were overjoyed when they saw all of the materials. Your gift is extremely appreciated and has been put to great use. Thank you!!!”

  • Stay Away Colds and Flu!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you for your generous donations to fund our project. When my students saw the large boxes entering our classroom filled with tissues and wipes at the end of last school year, their expression was priceless. "Wow, look at all those boxes, Ms. G."

Having an abundance of tissues, Clorox wipes, Lysol and NeutraAir in the classroom has enabled my students to take care of their sniffles during allergy season into the cold months.

We use the Clorox wipes to wipes down all our furniture at the beginning and end of the school day to keep the germs away! Hopefully, our attendance will improve this winter season. Thank you again!”

  • Ink and Printer Needed For Differentiation

    Funded Oct 24, 2017

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. Having a working printer with enough ink for the school year is a teacher's dream. Thank you for making my dream come true! Not only am I able to print task sheets for my students, but if something is too challenging or easy, I can adjust on the fly and make the work more individualized.

Having access to this technology in my room, makes for smooth teaching. I am no longer sending my assistants out of the classroom to make a few copies. I can just do it when I need to with our causing disruption to my classroom.

When the students have something they want to share with their families, they ask me to make a color copy for them to take home. I love watching my students beam with pride as they place their finished work in their folders at the end of the day. We appreciate all our donors do for our little classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Goldberg

I teach 12 wonderful and motivated special needs students in a Title 1 school located on the Lower East Side. I teach students in grades K, 1, and 2. They try hard to meet their personal goals as well as strive to meet the Common Core Learning Standards. Now that the third graders are faced with a standardized test next Spring, we will need more books and tools to meet their needs, With the proper tools not always available due to budget cuts, they will be able to meet and exceed their personal goals and grow into great readers, writers and mathematicians. Positive reinforcement helps my students flourish and want to continue to learn. All the skills they learn while in Early Childhood grades will support their growth as learners as they progress in school and through higher education.
