Many of my students are behind in reading and math. They use programs on iPads to work on Phonics, reading, and various math skills. The programs are ability based so students can work at their own pace. Using headphones is essential for enabling students to work in a quiet, peaceful environment, not interrupting other students around them. Having headphones that can adjust to the students heads, are comfortable on their ears, and have an adjustable volume is important in helping students students work without distractions. My students have been using some old headphones that keep braking and cutting in and out. Being able to use headphones that work and are comfortable will make all the difference. I will use the SEL posters to help with my students emotional well being.
