I teach at a school with a population that has 98% economically disadvantaged and close to 80% English Language learners. The school I taught at for many years worked under a school improvement grant for the last three years with an emphasis on Science and Technology. I had the great opportunity to learn so much about teaching with technology. I've seen the students excel and do exceedingly more than I ever imagined! I will be moving to another school in the district with the same demographics, but very limited in technology. There will be only six chrome books in a class of 24 students, instead of each student having one. I would like to double the number of chrome books to twelve, which will make it a little easier to give students access to the technology they need to be successful in school.
