Stem activities are specifically standards-aligned and will provide the materials necessary to explore and learn in a project-based environment. Students will learn about the land formations and what different compounds make up. How mixing solids and liquids combine to form a new product. Students will also learn about the life cycle of a plant which can be translated as prior knowledge of additional science topics throughout the 2021- 2022 school year. Increased literacy in science will increase fluency in daily second-grade reading. Allowing collaboration will improve the social-emotional need in the classroom.
