My transitional Kindergarten class consists of young 4 and 5 year-old students who are not quite ready for the structure of traditional Kindergarten. They are being given the gift of time which will set the foundation for their entire school career. They start the year with a very short attention span and need a variety of short activities that are meaningful and engaging. Our school has a very diverse population in terms of culture as well as socioeconomic status. Most of our families are very involved in their child's education and do as much as they can to support our school. We also have exceptional teachers who love teaching and work very hard to help each child succeed.
