    I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support. Our students were able to keep their hunger aside with your yummy snacks and focus on the important tasks of post-secondary planning. Because of your generosity, we are happy to say that close to 100% of our students were able to create a plan for after high school. Some students went off to college, some trade schools and a few students chose a military path. Thank you for making things a little brighter and easier for us. You are very much appreciated!”

  • Snacks for Hungry Students in Need!

    It is with much gratitude that I humbly thank you for the generous donations of snacks for students to enjoy after school and during our College Lounge.

    As you may have read, many of our students are first generation college applicants. As such, the college process can sometimes be lengthier and more challenging than for students whose parents have attended college. We spend long hours researching, filling out applications, writing essays and grappling with financial aid and scholarship forms. It is always fulfilling but can sometimes be a struggle. Some of our students are being supported with additional work needed to complete course requirements for graduation. Either way, being in school from 8:00AM- 5:00PM is a long day, and teenagers are hungry!

    Your generous donations allowed for our students to put in the extra time needed to succeed by helping to keep stomachs full and brain power fueled. We are very grateful and thankful for you seeing us, recognizing us and supporting us.”

Our students are creative, curious, mindful and accepting. 100% of my students qualify for free-lunch, but spend so much time in our school (8am-5pm), that just lunch is not enough! Our students get so hungry and distracted during the day, it would be very meaningful to have snacks to get them through the long (hungry!) day and focus on work.
