Our school is wonderfully warm and welcoming. We refer to our school community as "family" and we really mean it! All of our 740 students visit our library at least twice a month for a 45 minute lesson and to check out new books. Some of our favorite lessons connect literature to STEAM activities. They love to show their creativity and have the opportunity to respond the story we have read. We use some technology but the "low tech" options are what gets them the most excited! We have a small collection of Legos and some dominos. We would love to expand on these items to give more students an opportunity to think outside the box and hone their STEAM skills!
