The sensory materials I am requesting will give my students a leg up when it comes to managing their individual sensory needs. Often times my students need to move around when they are learning and will often bounce in their classroom chairs. These chairs are not meant for bouncing and do not provide the sensory feedback/support my students are seeking. The wiggle seats and stability balls will allow students to move around while sitting at his/her desks or in small groups. These items are specifically designed to support my students. The desk bands will allow students to move and bounce while maintaining focus on his/her work. The bands will allow students to receive the feedback they are looking for. When my students sensory needs are unmet, it is challenging for them to focus on the task at hand. Thank you for taking the time to consider donating to my project! My students and I greatly appreciate any support we receive.
