How can I thank you enough for your generous contribution to the students at KTL Charter School. This was my first "donorschoose.org" request and it couldn't have gone smoother. We were so thrilled to learn that we would be able to have our own dissection materials here at the K-6 campus. Science is an extremely important part to our Core Knowledge curriculum and to have this tool readily available is such a joy.

So far this year, the dissection trays and tools have been used for a pig heart dissection in fourth grade and both sheep brains and cow eyes in my classroom. Normally tentative, squeamish students become fascinated explorers. This can spark a love of the sciences at such an early age. It is thrill for me to witness and share this learning with them.
