The 600 computer scientists ranging from grades kindergarten thru fifth grade attend Computer Science as one of their specials classes. Every student gets to increase their skills for a week each month. By having this course offering, ALL students regardless of their gender, race, learning level, or economic background is given the opportunity to expand their computational thinking, employability skills, and computer literacy. Having a teacher that just completed an externship with Sphero guarantees these students will be effectively using the BOLT and indi robots to build their drawing, Blockly, and Java Script coding skills--all while thinking they are "playing" and getting to apply their creativity to write programs and solve problems.

About my class
